Job summary

JLL is seeking an Occupancy Planner for Lab Project Planning to manage end-to-end planning of 1.6M SF of laboratory space across AMER campuses. You will consolidate data from client systems, develop scenarios, and coordinate with MEP engineers and stakeholders to minimize disruption while meeting technical requirements.

You will lead test-fit layouts, tracking timelines and equipment destinations, and produce executive-ready reports that clearly communicate complex information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design or related field with extensive occupancy planning experience.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder planning projects with technical validation.
• Experience coordinating with MEP engineers on power, HVAC, and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of lab operations and specialized infrastructure for labs.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with data-driven storytelling and dashboards.
• Proficiency in space planning software and CAD tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate laboratory data into a Master Project Planning Tracker as the single source of truth.
• Develop FROM/TO scenarios and test-fit layouts with power and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather programming needs and schedule check-ins.
• Validate technical feasibility with MEP consultants and obtain final approvals.
• Produce concise project reports and dashboards for executive decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data gaps, equipment, and schedules.
• Build relationships across client and JLL teams to support rollout across sites.
