Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in West Bend, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the ACL Lab team. This full-time role supports providers, binds patients to care, and helps ensure a seamless, compassionate experience for every visit.

You will take vital signs, record histories, prepare patients for exams, assist during procedures, and handle lab tasks such as specimen collection and point-of-care testing. Phlebotomy skills are preferred, and a MA diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
