Qualifications

  • Respects MA scope and follows policies.
  • Performs vital signs, medical history, health maintenance and screenings.
  • Assists providers and performs procedures as ordered.
  • Performs lab duties including venipuncture, specimen labeling, and POCT.
  • Administers medications and vaccines per safety rules.
  • Completes ancillary tasks: refills, authorizations, scheduling, referrals.
  • Cross-trains for clinic duties within MA scope.
  • Communicates effectively, works with team, escalates when needed.
  • Keeps environment clean and stocked.
  • Delivers age-appropriate care with growth and development awareness.
