Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months phlebotomy, laboratory-related experience or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive and process inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.
• Communicate with nursing regarding patient specimens.
• Refer specimens to outside laboratories.
• Interact with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
