Job summary

BayCare Health System in Valrico, FL seeks a Lab Medical Assistant II to join the BayCare Outpatient Imaging team. Responsibilities

• Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
• Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
• Referring specimens to outside laboratories
• Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
• Performance of phlebotomy procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
