Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a certified Lab Manager to lead the CMT laboratory in Wisconsin. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure ASTM QA/QC compliance, and coordinate with project managers. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Responsibilities include data interpretation, report preparation, equipment maintenance, and participation in business development efforts while promoting a safe, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 4 years of related experience.
• Certifications per ECS Technician Policy for soils and concrete labs.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily laboratory operations, personnel, and workload distribution.
• Oversee laboratory testing, data interpretation, and report preparation.
• Ensure testing meets ASTM standards and QA/QC requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; manage calibration records.
• Oversee accreditation and quality management systems compliance.
• Lead recruiting and staffing in coordination with leadership.
• Promote safety culture and ensure PPE usage.
• Support project managers and administrative functions as needed.
• Participate in business development and client relationship activities.
