Job summary

Capgemini in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Lab IT Support Engineer to ensure seamless operation of lab instruments and related software. You will collaborate with vendors and network teams to implement configurations, manage user accounts, and resolve incidents.

The role requires 2–5 years in Lab IT support within Pharma or Biotech, familiarity with LIMS/CDS, and strong communication skills. ITIL knowledge and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lab IT end-user support within Pharma or Biotech industries or equivalent work experience and applicable certifications.
• Experience with lab instruments and lab instrument PCs.
• Ability to support users, provide system maintenance and upgrade.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and GXP practices (21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
• Experience with ITIL processes: Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management.
• Familiarity with GxP practices; 21 CFR Part 11, manual testing, qualification processes; knowledge of LIMS and CDS.

Responsibilities

• Provide flawless IT support for lab instruments and associated software applications.
• Perform user administration tasks and incident resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors and network teams to install and maintain lab instruments.
• Write and update SOPs and support firmware updates.
• Provide periodic reviews and maintenance support to instrument owners and firmware updates.
