Job summary

Stellent IT LLC seeks a Lab IT Support Specialist / IS Engineer to support regulated laboratory and quality systems in pharma. The role emphasizes IT/IS engineering with validation awareness, not heavy validation, and requires experience with GxP environments, LIMS, and instrument software.

You'll coordinate software deployments, document lifecycle activities, and work with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure system availability, data integrity, and compliant operations across

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Eng, Life Sciences or related field.
3+ years support of laboratory/regulatory computerized systems.
Experience in GxP-regulated pharma/biotech/medical device environments.
Hands-on with LIMS, Veeva or chromatography data systems.
Knowledge of computer system validation and change control.
Strong troubleshooting and communication; able to work independently.
Knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity, risk-based validation.
Experience with Windows admin, AD, endpoint management, networking, and recovery (preferred).

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operation of lab systems and instrument workstations.
Coordinate software installs, upgrades, patches, and controlled configuration changes.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to lifecycle planning.
Assist deployment of new laboratory instruments and systems, including workstation builds and migrations.
Coordinate vendor installation, upgrade, and implementation activities; document dependencies, issues and risks.
Support validation activities, risk assessments, change controls, and test scripts.
Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity on endpoint management and recovery dependencies.
Assist with backup, restoration, disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
Track actions and deliverables across projects and provide status updates; identify process improvements.
