Job summary

Verista is seeking a Validation Engineer to support day-to-day operation of laboratory and quality systems in a GxP-regulated environment. You will coordinate software installations, perform system validation activities, and contribute to documentation and risk assessments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in regulated labs, familiarity with LIMS/Veeva, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. US-based role with salary range disclosed and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with validated computerized systems in regulated environments.
• Experience with GxP-regulated pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device environments.
• Knowledge of lab informatics platforms (LIMS, Veeva, chromatography data systems).
• Experience with validation, change control, and controlled documentation practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of laboratory and quality systems, instruments, and related technologies.
• Coordinate software installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with users and support teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and lifecycle planning for hardware and software.
• Assist deployment of new lab instruments and computerized systems, including builds and migrations.
• Coordinate vendor activities and document dependencies, risks, and issues for escalation.
• Support computer system validation and software assurance activities throughout the lifecycle.
