Job summary

Eagle in Houston, TX seeks an IT Coordinator Support to manage IT infrastructure and laboratory instrument software, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. You will troubleshoot, upgrade systems, and coordinate with offsite IT teams and vendors.

The role supports engineering, quality, and HR functions, handles onboarding, inventory, and instrument software management, and drives cybersecurity and data protection across lab and office environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years IT support or laboratory IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with servers, network infrastructure, switches, printers, and workstations.
• Experience with laboratory instrument software and LIMS preferred.
• Familiarity with Empower, Scan RDI, LIMS, and data integrity/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-house servers, internet infrastructure, and related equipment.
• Coordinate software and system upgrades for lab instruments and data integrity.
• Procure IT equipment for laboratory and office use.
• Manage IT and equipment inventory for lab and office needs.
• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting for PCs, printers, software, and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with offsite IT teams and instrument vendors to resolve issues.
• File support tickets for user lockouts, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Onboard new hires with hardware, software, accounts, and workstations.
• Administer user accounts, data archiving, and instrument software issues.
• Assist Engineering with software and electrical troubleshooting, including calibrations.
• Manage and troubleshoot software for laboratory instruments, including Scan RDI and Empower.
• Support LIMS, including user management, alerts, and cloud data transfer.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to manage critical systems (Scan RDI, Empower).
• Support excursions and archiving for instrument data to cloud servers.
• Maintain and update laboratory software to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
• Participate in IT project work and continuous system improvements.
• Adhere to cybersecurity policies and system controls.
