Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Laboratory Services Supply Chain Technician to manage the receipt, replenishment, distribution, and inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely fulfillment of supply requests, and organized storage to support uninterrupted laboratory services and high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve supply issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• License: Driver's license required upon hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages supply replenishment and inventory accuracy.
• Requisitions replenishment using a barcode scanner.
• Monitors and validates bar code labels via monthly PAR mapping.
• Notifies Inventory Coordinator of back orders or stock outs.
• Unloads, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against PO and packing slips.
• Maintains stock and storage with FIFO rotation.
