Job summary

Avantor’s Lexington site seeks an Inventory/Operations professional to support customer operations with daily inventory, stockroom, and material management. You will monitor stock levels, replenish materials, and prevent stockouts in a regulated lab environment.

Role requires strong communication, Excel and ERP skills, and experience in a GMP/GLP or ISO-regulated setting. High school diploma required; associate’s/bachelor’s in supply chain preferred. Training and onboarding support provided.

Qualifications

• Minimal 3 years in inventory management, material handling, or supply chain support.
• Experience coordinating sourcing, procurement, replenishment and material management.
• Experience in GMP/GLP or ISO-regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inventory, stockroom, and material management activities.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage replenishment, prevent stockouts.
• Coordinate sourcing with suppliers on lead times and status.
• Oversee storage, handling, and distribution of laboratory materials.
• Support inventory controls, cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Track inventory metrics and maintain accurate documentation.
