Mercy Health is seeking a Lab Internship – Fairfield Hospital. The Internship will assist physicians by performing testing on blood, tissues, and body fluids to support diagnosis and treatment.
The Lab Intern will handle quality control, instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. Education requires a High School degree or GED, and current enrollment in an accredited Health Science program (MLS/MLT) toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Internship will play a key role in assisting physicians by performing all aspects of testing on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to measure the substances that contribute to the diagnosis as well as the treatment of a condition for the patient. In addition, the Lab Intern will be responsible for quality control, instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
