Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a PRN Lab Client Services representative for Lorain Hospital. This role handles receptionist tasks, patient and specimen registration, test ordering, billing verification, and preparation for mailing results.

Responsibilities include answering calls, supporting physician offices, processing specimens, and maintaining supplies. High school diploma required; prior medical office experience preferred. Travel to off-site locations may be required.

This is a PRN "As Needed" Position

Summary Of Primary Function/General Purpose Of Position

The Lab Client Services supports overall laboratory operations by performing the duties of receptionist, patient and/or specimen collection and registration to include: test ordering, billing, verifying medical necessity, and preparation for mailing of laboratory test results.
