Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a Laboratory Internship to support testing on blood, tissues and other bodily fluids, and assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment through accurate lab work.
The Lab Internship will handle quality control, instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, while engaging with staff and patients in a professional, fast-paced environment. High School diploma or GED and enrollment in MLS/MLT program are required.

The Laboratory Internship will play a key role in assisting physicians by performing all aspects of testing on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to measure the substances that contribute to the diagnosis as well as the treatment of a condition for the patient. In addition, the Lab Intern will be responsible for quality control, instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
