Labcorp in San Diego, CA is offering a paid 11-week Lab Intern program. You will shadow laboratory professionals, learn diagnostic workflows and instrumentation, and assist with non-testing tasks to support operations.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, totaling 40 hours per week. Eligibility favors rising juniors and seniors; pay ranges from $17.75 to $22 per hour. This internship provides real-world project experience and exposure to Labcorp’s global science and culture.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree program.
• Interest in laboratory science and diagnostics industry; ability to follow laboratory procedures.
• Willingness to work independently under general supervision and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
• Support approved laboratory projects
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures
