Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX is offering a paid 11-week Lab Intern program. You will shadow professionals, assist with non-testing tasks, and participate in mock testing under supervision to gain hands-on experience in a diagnostic lab.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology bachelor’s degree program, with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn lab procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications require enrollment in a chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science or medical technology bachelor's degree program.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow laboratory procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects and follow safety and SOPs.
