EPITEC in San Diego seeks a Technician II to set up and manage large-scale hardware rack testing environments for firmware projects. You will support devices and fixtures in-lab and enable automated system testing.

You will collaborate with firmware, software engineering, and test automation teams to configure test hardware, troubleshoot environment issues, and improve lab automation workflows. This is a 12-month on-site assignment in San Diego.

Qualifications

• 2 years building and managing a lab with devices.
• Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.
• Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices.
• Experience in automating device management using Python, bash and Ansible.
• Strong in diagnosing and resolving system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS or Linux.
• A team-player in nature with good communications and documentations skills.
