Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI is seeking a Lab Operations professional to coordinate workflow and monitor daily targets to meet turnaround times, while conducting semi-annual reviews and mentoring staff.

You will handle routine and non-routine work, lead investigations, establish root cause with CAPA, support LEAN improvements, and ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field with at least 4 years of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date, evaluate succession plans for growth.
• Perform routine and non-routine work as specified by technical job descriptions.
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group for personal development and operational improvements.
• Troubleshoot and solve instrumental and method issues.
• Lead and write investigations, establish root cause and robust CAPA.
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
