Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a qualified laboratory professional in Portage, MI, to coordinate workflow and monitor daily operations to meet targets. The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field and current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with comprehensive benefits including medical, life, disability insurance, a 401(k) match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations
