Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a full-time lab professional in Portage, MI to coordinate daily workflows, monitor turnaround times, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, and leading investigations to establish root causes and CAPA actions.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biology/biochemistry or related field with at least four years of lab experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and at least 4years of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth.
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual.
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements.
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues.
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA.
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements.
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations.
