Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Application Analyst with a Lab focus to support configuration, design, implementation and troubleshooting for clinical applications in a remote role requiring up to 80% travel. The role emphasizes Lab interfaces, Pathnet/Powerchart, and end-user training across rehab sites.

The candidate should have 2–5 years LIS analyst experience, EMR implementation exposure, and comfort with EHR environments. Associated degrees are required; rehab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Microbiology, Nursing, MLS or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2–5 years experience as LIS analyst in a facility or with a vendor.
• Rehab experience preferred.
• Experience working in Electronic Health Record environment is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience implementing an EMR in an inpatient or ambulatory care setting.
• Experience in complex healthcare technology implementations or experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot clinical applications and interfaces.
• Train end users and provide Go Live support.
• Perform workflow assessments and testing in Prod and non-Prod environments.
• Document activities and report findings.
• Lead site education and coordinate change management.
• Support Roche products and ongoing projects in IT1000.
