Job summary

Eurofins US Network in West Point, PA is seeking a Lab Equipment Coordinator to manage laboratory equipment lifecycle, including onboarding, qualification, maintenance, and retirement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering science with at least 2 years in a GLP/GMP lab, proficiency with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and strong RCA/troubleshooting skills. You will work with vendors to schedule installations, calibrations, and ensure compliance, with regular hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering science with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in a GLP or GMP laboratory, preferably in a bioanalytical setting.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures with insight into continuous improvement.
• Understand and apply regulatory/ compliance requirements relative to the role.
• Problem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with vendors and service providers to schedule installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities
• Validate and commission new equipment, maintain equipment records and compliance documentation, troubleshooting equipment-related issues, and manage the decommissioning/offboarding process of automated liquid handlers, plate readers, and PCR systems
• Ensure equipment remains operational, compliant, and aligned with business needs
