Job summary

Eurofins in West Point, PA is seeking a Lab Equipment Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of analytical instruments, from onboarding to retirement. You will work with vendors to schedule installations, calibration, and preventive maintenance while ensuring records are complete and compliant with GLP/GMP standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in a bioanalytical or regulated lab setting, with strong RCA and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in GLP or GMP laboratory settings preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements for the role.
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lifecycle of laboratory equipment from onboarding to retirement.
• Schedule installations, preventive maintenance, and calibration with vendors.
• Validate and commission new equipment; maintain records and compliance docs.
• Decommission equipment and manage offboarding processes.
• Ensure equipment is operational and compliant with business needs.

Job Description

In this role, you'd be responsible for coordinating laboratory equipment throughout its lifecycle, including onboarding, qualification, maintenance, and retirement.

• Workclosely with vendors and service providers to schedule installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities

Validateand commissionnew equipment, maintain equipment records and compliance documentation, troubleshooting equipment-related issues, and manage the decommissioning/offboarding process ofautomated liquid handlers, plate readers, and PCR systems

Ensure equipment remains operational, compliant, and aligned with business needs

Significant Safety or Working Considerations:

• May come into contact with potentially infectious material.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering science with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Experience in a GLP or GMP laboratory, preferably in a bioanalytical setting
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures with insight into continuous improvement
• Understandand apply regulatory/ compliance requirements relative to therole
• Problem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions
