Job summary

Lynker Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician II (Lab) to support the National Data Buoy Center and marine weather observations. The role involves electronics assembly, bench testing, diagnostics, and repair of electronic units and processing systems in a lab environment.

Qualifications include AS/AAS in Electronics or related field, ability to pass a government background check, and experience with calibration, data acquisition systems, sensors, and precision instrumentation.

• AS/AAS Electronics, Instrumentation, Engineering Tech or related field.
• Able to pass a government background check.
• Experience with bench testing and component-level repair.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic Line Replaceable Units and processing systems.
• Perform bench testing in electronics lab using standard equipment.
• Troubleshoot environmental monitoring sensors and data collection systems.
• Work with analog, digital and RF circuitry.
• Follow procedures, drawings, and schematics with supervision as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.
