Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is hiring a Laboratory & Diagnostic Services Manager to oversee the Laboratory and Radiology Departments, ensuring quality, compliance, and guest satisfaction. You will manage staff, budgets, and policy implementation while coordinating with hospital leadership to improve operations.

The role requires a BS in medical technology or related fields, ASCP/AMT certification, and 2+ years of leadership experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in medical technology or related sciences is required.
• ASCP or AMT certification for Medical Technologist/MLS and five years of clinical experience.
• Phlebotomy license through Washington State DoH and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Laboratory and Radiology Department activities and staff.
• Ensure QA/QC guidelines and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Oversee budgeting, billing practices, and long-range plans.
• Monitor department testing, chargemaster, and proficiency testing.
• Lead day-to-day operations and staff development.
