Responsibilities include processing specimens, labeling, retrieving results, and providing excellent client service while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates laboratory and hospital information system for entry and retrieval of patient demographic data and order entry.
• Processes outpatient lab specimens, accurately orders tests and labels specimens for testing in the clinical lab.
• Retrieves patient data and results for clients and physicians; delivers stat results by phone or fax as requested.
• Provides client service with a customer‑oriented focus for physicians and clients.
