Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for Navicent Health Medical Center - Lab to perform data entry of patient information and lab orders. 40 hours per week with 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM shifts and every third weekend rotation.

The role supports physicians and staff and ensures timely, accurate reporting of results. This position requires a High School diploma or GED and adherence to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School or GED diploma.
• Ability to enter patient and order data accurately.
• Ability to provide responsive client service to physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operates hospital information systems for patient data entry and order entry.
• Processes outpatient lab specimens and accurately orders tests.
• Retrieves patient data and results for clients and physicians; relays stat results as needed.
