Job summary

CompucomStaffing is hiring a Lab / Data Center Technician to work onsite in Chandler, AZ. The role supports establishing dev environments, software installation, and testing while handling demo equipment in a hands-on lab setting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on lab experience, intermediate Windows/Linux skills, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. OT tools knowledge and a readiness to learn are pluses. W2 position with a robust benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows and Linux at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of OS installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of container basics (Docker).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes deployments (entry-level/intermediate).
• Experience with client or industrial manufacturing software is a plus.
• No programming knowledge needed but should be able to do basic administrative setup.
• Attention to detail with hardware handling.
• Hands-on lab work experience.
• Basic understanding of Process Automation or Motion Control.
• Exposure to SoftPLC (nice to have, NOT required).
• Willingness to learn industrial/OT environment tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Standing up dev environments (Linux & Windows)
• Installing and configuring software
• Running tests and collecting/documenting performance data
• Packing, organizing, and shipping demo equipment

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $22.35 - $29.80 per hour, unlesslocal minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
