Aufgaben

• Acts as a laboratory receptionist, greets patients and visitors, answers telephone and relays messages.
• Ensures adequate supplies for office printers and arranges service as needed.
• Answers high volume of calls promptly and handles dispatch for courier services.
• Performs registration and test ordering by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information; schedules phlebotomists.
• Collaborates with Outreach team to add keys for lockboxes and label lab fleet vehicles.
• Assigns and prioritizes courier routes and logs dispatch information.
• Responds to urgent/STAT requests and knows test/specimen requirements.
