ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM is hiring a Laboratory Client Services Specialist I in Missouri. The role focuses on professional patient and provider communication, accurate handling of lab requests, and timely workflow management within the Laboratory department.

Responsibilities include assisting with test selection, processing orders, monitoring queues, coordinating couriers, and documenting interactions to support excellent patient care and outreach initiatives.

Qualificações

• Minimum one year of paid customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor degree preferred.
• Strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Answer and manage incoming laboratory calls with professional, accurate assistance.
• Provide information on testing requirements, specimen handling, and turnaround times.
• Assist providers with test selection and order entry, resolving routine issues.
• Monitor worklists and queues to ensure timely completion and escalation when needed.
• Coordinate courier requests and communicate critical results per policy.
• Document interactions accurately and support outreach retention efforts.
