Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE invites applications for an Incineration Technician- Rotary Kiln. You will perform hands-on operations including drum pumping, drum opening, and tank farm loading/unloading, using a forklift as needed.

Shifts rotate days and nights, 6a-6p and 6p-6a, with a wage of $26.50 per hour DOE and weekly pay. You will operate the incinerator safely, complete required paperwork, and ensure compliance with health, safety and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow DOT rules.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and basic computer tasks.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Uphold health and safety as the top priority and follow all SOPs.
• Perform drum pumping, drum opening, and tank farm truck loading/unloading per DOT rules.
• Operate a forklift and complete daily safety checks.
• Document waste movements and use scanning apps for dumping and pumping.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure compliance with all permits and procedures.

Incineration Technician- Rotary Kiln performs hands on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vehicle with forklift operations. Operate incinerator along with clamshell device (fun for Gamers and DJ's). Wage $26.50 per hour DOE paid weekly,.4- 12 hour rotating (days/nights) shifts per week (6a-6p/ 6p-6a).

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in Compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing.
• Operates a forklift when necessary, Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating.
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements,-Able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
• Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures
• Reviews all applicable SOP's and satisfactorily completes quizzes
• Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards
• Meets or exceeds production goals
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
• Understands Clean Compliance Standard

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift operation
• Ability to work in team environment
• DOT Training
• Proficiency in Windows based applications
• Climb on and off forklifts
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
• Climb up and down vertical ladders
• Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
• 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
• 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Mechanically inclined
• Valid Driver's License
• Punctuality and attendance
• Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
• Background check, drug screen and physical
• Updated resume- required
