Roche in the United States seeks a Development Engineer to join the System Development (SD) department within R&D. You will work in a global, cross-functional team to automate laboratory workflows and integrate hardware, software, and robotics to advance diagnostics systems.

You will design, test, and maintain automated solutions, support integration teams in robotics deployments, plan work packages, and collaborate across disciplines to turn complex ideas into reliable, scalable systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's in CS/engineering with robotics/vision focus.
• Experience in software development and automation.
• Strong English; German advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Elaborating on robotics concepts within a laboratory environment towards automated operations.
• Programming, testing, and maintaining automated solutions in laboratories.
• Supporting Integration Teams in installation and troubleshooting of Robotics Solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work packages with reporting to team/management.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
