Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, AI & Robotics or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in robotics or automation software development (for alternative paths).
• 5+ years of experience with industrial automation technologies including robotics, actuators, sensors, and servo motors.
• 5+ years of Java or other OO languages; 5+ years of OO design experience.
• 5+ years of embedded or real-time Java development.
• 5+ years using IDEs like Eclipse or VS Code with source control and module management.
• 5+ years using Git-based version control.
• 5+ years developing machine-vision algorithms for inspection or robotic control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support application‑level software for laboratory automation equipment and robotics.
• Develop embedded and networked automation software from concept to production and support.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to develop diagnostic software for automation equipment.
• Define and refine application requirements with cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute reusable core tools and libraries for Java environments.
• Create application interfaces, web services, and backend databases; monitor performance.
