Job summary

Dynamic Devices, a provider of liquid handling automation workstations for Life Sciences, seeks a Laboratory Automation Engineer to support the Mid-Atlantic territory. You will install, train customers, support programming, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot, collaborating with Sales for demonstrations.

This role requires quick learning, independent work style, and ability to travel up to 50% and commute to Wilmington, Delaware.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Biology, Computer Science or applied engineering.
  • Solid programming experience with automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50%.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to commute to Wilmington, Delaware.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support lab automation systems for customers.
  • Develop and refine instrument methods for a diverse customer base.
  • Understand and analyze project requirements and translate those into programming deliverables.
  • Work as part of a cross-trained and highly dynamic team (hardware, software, applications).
  • Work with the Engineering and R&D teams to assist in product testing, feedback, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team for instrument demonstrations (pre- and post-sales).
  • Provide customer training and application support.
  • Coordinate expectations on shipping and installation logistics.
  • Schedule & coordinate preventative maintenance each month to be completed.
  • Receive customer calls for service-related issues. Triage and assess remotely or in-person

Skills

Solid programming experience with auto
