University of Michigan is seeking a temporary Laboratory Assistant (Clin) to support Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. The role involves preparing and delivering blocks and slides, tracking assets, and handling requests for materials while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The position is full-time, onsite, with a day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and requires the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and work well within a team in a dynamic environment.

Modes of Work

Work Schedule

This full time, 40 hour position is on the day shift, 6am to 2:30pm.

Work Locations

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
