Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is hiring a phlebotomist to join our clinical team in Georgia. The role involves processing samples, performing venipunctures, and preparing specimens in accordance with CMS and CLIA standards.

You will support the technical staff with non-clinical tasks and contribute to accurate patient testing. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with no experience required and preferred experience in phlebotomy, EKGs, or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
• Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
