Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our hospital laboratory team. The role involves processing samples, performing venipunctures, and supporting a CLIA-compliant workflow in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Education required is a high school diploma or GED; no experience is required though one year in phlebotomy and EKG experience are preferred. CPT certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience performing EKGs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens according to Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
