Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to join our clinical team. You will perform venipuncture, process samples, and assist with exempt screening and monitoring tests in alignment with CMS/CLIA standards and Piedmont procedures.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred and a CPT certification encouraged. This role supports the laboratory team across our Georgia facilities.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (ASCP/ASPT/NCA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS/CLIA and Piedmont policies; performs venipunctures where applicable and prepares blood specimens.

Responsibilities

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Work Experience
