Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. This role supports sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests, and performs venipunctures in accordance with Piedmont policies and CMS requirements.

Shift is 10p–6:30a, Sunday to Thursday, with a sign-on bonus available. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, no experience required or 1 year preferred, and CPT phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS/CLIA.
• Venipuncture and blood specimen preparation following Piedmont procedures.
• Assist technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable.
• Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
