Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88) and Piedmont policies. The role includes performing venipunctures and preparing blood specimens, while assisting technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

The ideal candidate has GED and may have 1 year of phlebotomy experience and EKG exposure; healthcare or clinical lab setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience performing EKGs preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting preferred.
