Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform routine technical and clerical duties in the laboratory, including venipuncture, specimen receipt, labeling tubes, and distribution of specimens. Under supervision, you will collect specimens, perform simple CLIA-waived tests, and handle phlebotomy duties as assigned, with initial on-the-job training to complete blood draws within six weeks.

Job description

Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens, labels tubes and specimen containers, collects specimens and performs simple tests under supervision.

Performs phlebotomist duties as assigned.
