An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant II to support cutting-edge research in a dynamic laboratory environment. Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Lab Assistant II will perform housekeeping duties in the laboratory (maintenance of the research colony, cleaning and disinfecting lab equipment), immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry staining, and will be involved in primary research project completion including several specialized methods in rat handling/medication administration/aseptic surgery. The Lab Assistant II training will be provided in specific techniques, experience is laboratory rodent is required, some basic research laboratory experience (pipetting, making solutions, etc.) and scientific coursework (chemistry and biology) preferred.
Please note, this is a part-time, 18-month limited position that may convert to career.
Salary Range: $22.02 - $25.90 Hourly
