The Laboratory Assistant I at Baptist Health Arkansas in Little Rock supports the clinical laboratory by processing specimens, labeling, and delivering them to the appropriate work areas. The role may include waived or moderate testing as directed by the Clinical Laboratory manager or director, under supervision.

You will communicate with nursing and laboratory staff to resolve specimen issues, perform clerical duties, and ensure accurate HIS/LIS data entry while following established protocols

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend English; basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and telephone etiquette.
• Strong problem solving and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and handle human specimens.
• Training in unpacking and stocking inventory may be provided.
