Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology required.
• Registy (ASCP) or equivalent preferred; registry eligible considered.
• Completes training in at least two rotations within the first six months.
• Good language, math and reasoning skills for data collection and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with the public and hospital staff; adaptable to duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical laboratory tests, procedures and analyses to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare samples for examination using automated equipment and instrumentation.
• Perform multiple complex tests simultaneously and interpret results accurately and timely.
• Operate under minimal supervision; may serve as Tech in Charge when required.
