Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution.
• Registry for Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent) preferred, must be registry eligible.
• Completes training in at least two rotations within the first six months of employment as required per hospital.
• Possess language, math and reasoning skills for data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical laboratory tests, procedures and analyses to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare samples and operate automated equipment and instrumentation.
• Interpret results accurately to support timely clinical decision-making.
