Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Phlebotomy training or certification preferred; Licenses optional.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform cytopreparatory staining and accessions surgical cases with anatomy knowledge.
• Receive and set up primary specimen cultures, inoculating petri dishes for bacterial growth.
• Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment and spaces; manage inventory and supplies.
• Participate in performance improvement activities; evaluate new equipment/procedures.
• Provide resolution to customer service issues within guidelines; educate clinical staff.
