Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Support professional to perform registration, screening, and order entry for specimens. You will produce reports from the lab information system, route as required, and assist with front office calls.

Responsibilities include receiving and delivering specimens, preparing samples for analysis, loading automated instruments, and faxing reports under HIPAA guidelines. This role operates nights with weekend alternation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to work as a team player with excellent customer services skills.
• Previous lab experience preferred.

Prepares specimens for analysis, loads automated instruments. Faxes reports as required in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate, or equivalent required.
• Ability to work as a team player with excellent customer services skills.
• Previous lab experience preferred.

WORK SHIFT DETAILS

Nights, Work hours 5pm to 1:30 am, with alternating weekend hours of 12:45 pm to 9:15 pm.

COMPENSATION

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $16.97 - $20.79 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
