Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Becker and Big Clinics, with travel to St. Joseph, Cold Spring, and Clearwater Clinics. The role supports the laboratory team by collecting blood, maintaining patient trust, and assisting with low-complexity testing and culture setup.

We offer full-time work with day shifts and a schedule of 64–72 hours every two weeks. Pay starts around $20.47/hour, with a range of $19.53–$29.28/hour, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical-related program
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position primarily will work at Becker and Big Clinics but will include travel to the St. Joeseph, Cold Spring, and Clearwater Clinics.

What you’ll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule:

• Full-time | 64-72 hours every two weeks
• Day Shift | Monday - Friday | Shifts 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm
• No weekends or holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.47 per hour and increases with experience
