Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Lab Assistant to support our Cold Spring and Clearwater Clinics. This role will primarily operate at the Cold Spring and Clearwater locations with some travel to St. Joseph, Becker, and Big Lake Clinics.

Responsibilities include collecting blood, maintaining patient trust, and performing low complexity testing and culture setup. The schedule offers full-time hours (72-80 hours every two weeks) with multiple day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursuing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical-related program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position primarily will work at the Cold Spring and Clearwater Clinics but will include travel to St. Joeseph, Becker, and Big Lake Clinics.

What you'll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule:

• Full-time | 72-80 hours every two weeks
• Day Shift | Monday - Friday | Shifts 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.47 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range:$19.53 - $29.28 per hour
